The BRBA, with the assistance of sponsors, members and State and Federal Government has developed an online Directory of products with recycled content. The Directory, the first in Australia, is available online free of charge for anyone wishing to source recycled products - including householders, governments, SMEs, corporations, community organisations, schools and universities.

Products listing the database will provide the following information:

• Product brand, name and description
• Indicative prive (optional)
• Availability - Wholesale/Retail
• Product codes (brand owner and retailer
• Size specifications (optional)
• Unit of sale
• Items per unit of sale
• Weight of the unit of sale (grams)
• Colour (optional)
• Packaging materials used on product
• Packaging weight (optional)
• Product image
• Brand Owner
• Country of manufacture
• Name of manufacturer (optional)
• Availability (ie. nationally or by state)
• Average percentage (by weight) of:
• Reused Material
• Remanufactured Material
• Pre-consumer Content
• Post-consumer Content
• Re-utilised Materials
• Recyclability
• Recycling acceptance
• Quality Standards (optional)
• Additional product information relevant to consumers (optional)

Most importantly, specific information regarding each type of recycled material in the product will be provided including:

• Recycled material type (e.g. paper, aluminium, steel)
• Country where material is recovered (optional)
• Country where recovered material is processed (optional)
• Other recycled material information (optional)
• Percentage (by weight of total product) that is Reused Material, Remanufactured Material, Pre-consumer Content, Post-consumer Content and Re-utilised Materials (Average, Minimum and Maximum)
