The BRBA delivers the following programs to its members:
Induction Workshop
The Induction Workshop is provided to new members upon joining. Designed to get new members
"in the loop" and offer early support for "buy recycled" efforts, the Induction Workshop is a
participative two hour session which aims to:
- Introduce BRBA and the "buy recycled" concept
- Benchmark current "buy recycled" status
- Handover a range of implementation materials
- Provide a forum to explore ideas, issues and opportunities
- Prepare companies for a subsequent Coach Program

Coach Program
The Coach Program is a sustainable purchasing initiative in which members are "coached" in
buy recycled principles and practices. The Coach Program supports our emphasis on moving from
theory to practice by providing members with hands-on help to make "buy recycled" happen.
The Coach Program is delivered over 16 weeks. Our expert resource utilises the "Buy Recycled
in Business Toolbox" to work with members to develop and implement a specific plan to increase
RCP take-up.
The Coach Program is free for BRBA members, tailored to meet member need, and focused on
delivering real business benefits. Case studies capturing these benefits are developed to promote
both the "buy recycled" concept and member achievement.

Implementation Milestones Program
The Implementation Milestones Program has been established to provide a consistent means
of measuring and reporting member achievement against set targets.
Milestones include a range of qualitative steps such as establishing an implementation
team, approving a "buy recycled" policy, communicating with suppliers, considering RCPs in
tenders, initiating RCP trials, documenting transition to RCPs, and tracking and reporting
RCP take-up.
In addition to providing members with the motivation and focus to continuously improve their
sustainable purchasing, Implementation Milestones ensure that member "buy recycled" achievements
are tracked, recognised and included in annual BRBA reporting.
